The Sonterra neighborhoods use Radio Frequency Identification tags for neighborhood gate access.

 

You may call or email the POA to request RFID tags.  Information needed for each tag:  vehicle make, model, and year, and the permanent license plate number.  An RFID tag and a set of Sonterra decals will be issued.  Each RFID tag is $25.00.  If you have traded or sold a vehicle and replaced with another the new vehicle tag price is $10.00.  The traded/sold vehicle and tag will be deactivated.

 

A Sonterra staff member is required to apply the tag to the vehicle.  This can be accomplished at our office location during operating hours. POA can schedule an appointment with Sonterra Patrol to apply the tags and collect payment.  Patrol is 24/7. 

 

RFID tags occasionally stop working.  The POA will honor a one-year warranty on RFID tags and replace at no cost.  Tags that do not work after the one-year warranty expires will be charged $10.00 for a replacement.
